A compromise agreement is an agreement between an employee and his or her employer. In return for a payment from the employer, the employee agrees not to bring or continue in legal proceedings arising out of his or her employment. In order to be legally binding, the employee must before signing the agreement, have received advice from a legally qualified (and insured) person such as a Solicitor.
