What is a compromise Agreement?
A compromise agreement is an agreement between an employee and his or her employer. In return for a payment from the employer, the employee enters into a compromise agreement contract and agrees not to bring or continue in legal proceedings arising out of his or her employment. In order for the compromise agreement to be legally binding, the employee must before signing the compromise agreement, have received advice from a legally qualified (and insured) person such as an experienced compromise agreement Solicitor.
